About the Role

We are seeking a Chain of Responsibility expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of heavy vehicle chain of responsibility management and be able to develop, implement, and maintain effective management systems.

This is a key role in our HSE Team, providing oversight of heavy vehicle chain of responsibility management across various businesses by developing, implementing, and maintaining management systems.

Your Daily Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and deliver chain of responsibility systems across multiple businesses to meet or exceed regulatory standards.
  • Support individual entities to create bespoke practices relevant to their operations, based on the organisation-wide framework.
  • Work with stakeholders to support the successful implementation of their chain of responsibility requirements.
  • Establish and maintain a governance framework that monitors the overall performance of COR.
  • Collaborate with learning content creators to develop training modules on this area of expertise.
About You

The ideal candidate will bring previous experience from work environments such as transport and logistics, quarrying, extraction, defence force, and/or construction.

A deep understanding of the heavy vehicle industry, including comprehensive knowledge of the NHVR, is essential.

A proven ability to influence diverse stakeholder groups to achieve outcomes is also required.

Experience in the defence sector will be highly regarded.

A valid driver's license and any relevant industry licenses / competencies (i.e. Construction industry induction card) are necessary.

Familiarity with MT data and advanced experience in MS Suite is beneficial.
