A professional who bridges the gap between business and technical teams, this consultant plays a vital role in guiding clients through complex transformation, implementation, and operation phases of a Workday payroll system.
Key Responsibilities:- Expertise in Workday payroll design, configuration, testing, and implementation is essential for this role.
- The consultant will recommend solutions based on client requirements, timeframe, and budget constraints, adapting scope as needed to meet their needs.
- Through facilitated design sessions and configuration decisions based on best practices and unique business requirements, the consultant will guide clients towards a seamless transition from legacy systems to Workday payroll.
- This role requires regular engagement and support of clients throughout all project phases, ensuring a smooth transfer process.
- Multiple tasks will be performed under limited direction while keeping clients, project team, and Engagement Manager informed of changes or progress.
- Collaboration with integration teams is necessary to configure and test integrations between Workday solution and client-selected payroll and benefits providers.
- A bachelor's degree is required, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred experience with Workday payroll implementation is beneficial for success in this role.
- Highly desired are 2+ years of Workday functional implementation experience, 2-5 years of Human Resources, Payroll, or Financial software experience, and 2-5 years of implementing functional solutions with ERP or SaaS software.
- Minimal travel is required; however, flexibility to travel on-site when necessary is expected.
