Job Opportunity:

This role is a key position within our health and security team. As a Health & Security Officer, you will provide patient support and assist clinical staff in patient care while ensuring the protection, security, and safety of all staff, patients, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide patient support and assist clinical staff in patient care within limits of skills and knowledge base.
  • Ensure the protection, security, and safety of all staff, patients, and visitors.
  • Hold a current Class 1A NSW Security Licence, current First Aid Certificate, and a current valid Class C Driver's Licence.
  • Demonstrate experience and commitment to Work Health and Safety issues involved in lifting and transferring patients.
  • Demonstrate ability to read and understand essential documentation including safe work practices and infection control procedures.
  • Demonstrate experience in effectively and safely managing confrontation and aggression.
  • Demonstrate experience in providing services with a strong responsive customer service focus.
  • Demonstrate experience in communicating appropriately and effectively in a wide range of complex situations.
  • Demonstrate basic computer skills.
