The role of Maintenance Policy/Compliance Control Officer will be based at HMAS Albatross, Nowra. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial part in ensuring safe flight operations through incorporating OEM updates into the electronic Maintenance Management System. This will involve coordinating supply and tooling variations to support those policy changes.

You will also be responsible for implementing Aircraft Maintenance Program (AMP) updates in the electronic Maintenance Management System. This will require close liaison with the Boeing Maintenance workforce to communicate impacts of changes.

Apart from these key responsibilities, you will extract data from, and audit/review, the electronic Maintenance Management System against authorised maintenance data. You will work closely with the maintenance planning team to develop best practice processes for efficient performance of maintenance.

In addition, you will collate and process suggested improvements to maintenance requirements. This role will provide opportunities to engage effectively with team members, technical representatives within industry and personnel from the Australian Army and the Royal Australian Navy.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in maintenance planning, reliability or Maintenance Management Systems preferably in an aviation/rotary wing environment;
  • Applicants must be Australian citizens to meet Defence security and trade controls requirements;
  • Very good computer skills, preferably including Maintenance Management Systems and the full Office suite of software;
