About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Multidisciplinary Care Specialist to join our team in delivering effective medical care in obstetrics and gynaecology.

This is an exciting opportunity for a healthcare professional to work under supervision, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams within the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver clinical care in obstetrics and gynaecology under specialist supervision.
  • Work independently in a supervised environment, utilizing strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Participate in after-hours overtime and standby rosters, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Pursue continued professional development and self-education to stay up-to-date with best practices in obstetrics and gynaecology.
  • Demonstrate a professional attitude, empathy, and excellent interpersonal skills when interacting with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum two years postgraduate experience in obstetrics and gynaecology.
  • Excellent communication and computer skills, with proficiency in relevant software and systems.
  • Able to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary framework, prioritizing collaboration and teamwork.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
