Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee the management of emergency response operations, ensuring seamless coordination and logistics.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team that provides operational support and administration for emergency response activities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining asset, system, and equipment management for all emergency response activities.
  • Coordinating logistics, finance, and on-call team rosters during emergency response deployments.
  • Developing and maintaining operational policies, procedures, and risk assessments for emergency response, communication with sites and stakeholders.
  • Ensuring emergency response service readiness and commercial client engagement through licencing contracts.
  • Managing goods and services contracts associated with software development and research activities.
  • Providing broader business operational support including budgeting, capital, and procurement for MSTRC and research initiatives.
  • Project management support for logistical and procurement activities for research and externally funded projects.
  • Identifying corporate, financial, and organisational issues impacting MSTRC's effectiveness and proposing solutions.

Key Requirements:

Experience in leading operations, logistics, capital, and asset management, project management, and emergency response systems planning is highly regarded.
