Older Person Mental Health Leadership Opportunity

This is a rare opportunity to lead and manage in a dynamic environment within the Older Person Mental Health (OPMHS) Team. As a Team Leader, you will provide clinical leadership and support, demonstrating knowledge and understanding of the issues affecting older persons experiencing mental health problems.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish close working relationships with stakeholders to ensure timely admission and discharge of patients.
- Provide face-to-face consumer, carer and family contact and support.
- Support and promote consumer and carer rights in both clinical and service planning contexts.
The successful candidate will be a member of the Northern Beaches Community Mental Health Service (NBCMHS) Management Team and contribute to strategic, business and operational planning. This role requires strong leadership skills, problem-solving abilities and a passion for improving patient outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Relevant qualification in Clinical Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy or Nursing with current registration.
- Demonstrated experience as a level 2 or above in Occupational Therapy or Social Work.
- Eligibility for membership with AASW.
