Community Engagement Specialist

Foster community engagement and connectedness by effectively managing projects and events.
The role involves collaborating with government departments, community service providers, and local organisations to identify needs and wants, engaging with community members, groups, and organisations to support community programs and activities. The Community Development Manager will also establish and maintain a partnership program with regional bodies and local community groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintaining ongoing contact with regional sporting and community groups to deliver programs and services to the community.
- Ensuring compliance of community activities and events with organisational procedures and policies.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated track record of success in management roles in the community development sector.
- Knowledge and understanding of community development principles and planning processes.
- Experience in planning, executing and managing community engagement strategies.
Flexible working arrangement, 2 days WFH and 3 in the office. Incredible land development opportunities on the Sunshine Coast. Supportive management structure and benefits including access to lifestyle, health, well-being and financial services.
