Key Responsibilities:

  • Review investment recommendations and form an independent view on risks and returns.
  • Ensure accurate reporting and monitoring of investment transactions across private markets teams.
  • Monitor and escalate process-related risks, including controls, segregation of duties, and erroneous/fraudulent activity.
  • Analyse valuations and challenge valuers on assumptions and outcomes.
  • Assist with risk-related matters on new client mandates, RFPs, business development, and asset-related strategic initiatives.
  • Manage allocation protocols, ensuring adherence and updates.
  • Coordinate deal-by-deal mandate compliance and quarterly requests.
  • Support private markets teams with reporting, policy development, and risk oversight.

About You

A tertiary qualification in Finance, Economics, Business, or Accounting is essential, along with excellent stakeholder management abilities. You will have a passion for private market asset classes, sound judgment, and strong analytical skills. Key criteria include:

  • Solid understanding of real estate valuations and development feasibilities.
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Sound proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with interest in PowerBI and Pitchbook.
  • Attention to detail, methodical approach, and ability to meet deadlines.

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum
