Job Overview

This role involves providing expert technical support to ensure seamless operation of our systems.

  • Ensure timely submission of service reports, expense claims, and other reports.
  • Accurate time sheets must be completed and submitted weekly.
  • Field Service Reports must be completed for every service call made and signed by the customer.

Operational Excellence:

  • Carry out commissioning, service contract maintenance, and after-hours commitments in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Maintain relationships between us and customers by promptly reporting complaints.
  • Ensure competence to handle required technology through training and personal updating.
  • Ensure company vehicle, personal dress, and appearance are presentable.
  • Fill out spare parts van stock requisitions to maintain accurate records.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Be aware of sales and service opportunities and report them to management.
  • Ensure the sales department is informed of all new sales opportunities and prospects.

WHS, Environment & Quality:

  • Comply with Work, Health & Safety, Environment, and Quality obligations.
  • Actively promote safety in the workplace.

Education/Qualification:

  • Electrical/Electronics Trade Certificate (ideally).
  • Relevant State-based Electrical Licence (A Grade License).

Specialist Knowledge:

  • Commercial acumen.
  • Technical knowledge in data centers, telecom, commercial, and industrial industries.

Practical Experience:

  • Proven track record within the power industry as a service technician.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
