Job Title: Senior Technical Expert

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced technical expert to lead the architecture planning, migration & installation of new projects.
  • This role requires a deep understanding of architecture planning, database management, middleware configuration, backup strategies and disaster recovery plans.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in platform design, database administration, application development, and IT infrastructure management.
  • You will be responsible for conducting technology capacity planning, reviewing current and future requirements, and utilizing new features of underlying technologies to ensure smooth functioning.
  • The successful candidate will also lead the structural/ architectural design of a platform/middleware/database/back up etc. according to various system requirements to ensure a highly scalable and extensible solution.
  • Key responsibilities include:
    • Conducting root cause analysis (RCA) and developing fixes to avoid similar issues
    • Managing day-to-day operations by troubleshooting any issues and developing shift roster for the team to ensure no disruption in the tower
    • Providing weekly status reports to stakeholders on database activities w.r.t. progress, updates, status, and next steps
  • Required Skills and Qualifications
    • Linux Admin experience with 8-10 years of hands-on experience
    • Strong technical expertise in platform design, database administration, application development, and IT infrastructure management
    • Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to conduct RCA and develop fixes
    • Strong communication and project management skills
