About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Location Manager to join our team at InvoCare. As a key member of our funeral services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the provision of quality service to our clients, embracing and advocating the company's culture and high service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a team of funeral professionals to deliver exceptional customer service and support to families during a difficult time.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of a high-volume funeral location, including staff supervision, customer service, and financial management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to build positive relationships with stakeholders, including families, funeral directors, and other external partners.
  • Provide compassionate care and support to families, interpreting their needs and communicating options clearly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless service delivery and high-quality outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and excellence in service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in funeral services, operations management, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with families, staff, and external partners.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Unrestricted driver's license and ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends.
