Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Development Support Coordinator. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing building permits, and coordinating with developers and sales agents.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the first point of contact for developers and sales agents for a portfolio of residential communities
- Application and preparation of building permits and other associated compliances
- Maintain the highest standard of customer service by monitoring progress of customer files and providing updates on the status of their home
- Register and track all documentation and answer any questions and queries
- Review sales paperwork to ensure customer requirements are clear and have no discrepancies before preparing the building contract
- Follow up any outstanding documentation to prepare one-part contracts
- Provide developers and sales agents with regular updates for projects in pre-construction and under construction
- Create and distribute the HIA building contract, assisting with all questions and queries pertaining to the HIA contract
- Revise and prepare projects for the production team to work on and resolve any discrepancies before building permit applications
- Facilitate with the developer and construction team settlement day procedure and communication and conduct of settlements with the customer

Requirements
- Experience working within a project management or customer-focused role in a multi-channel and results-focused team
- Permits experience preferred
- Ability to clearly identify client needs and generate solutions
- Highly effective interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to communicate and build rapport with team members, stakeholders, and customers
- Intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel, and SharePoint computer skills
- Highly organized – ability to multi-task and deal with a variety of activities
- Working knowledge of the building and construction process is preferred but not essential
