About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team at Amazon. As a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect, you will play a key role in helping our customers plan and execute their cloud journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific business initiatives and projects.
  • Develop a deep expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) technologies.
  • Consult on and provide leadership for the broad AWS cloud strategy to Healthcare & Life Science Public Sector organisations.
  • Own technical engagements, and help ensure a timely and successful delivery of value.
  • Exhibit leadership within a very sophisticated IT landscape and become the trusted adviser to different stakeholders in the customer's organisation's hierarchy.
  • Be a thought leader, comfortable with speaking in public.
  • Contribute and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS architecture community.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
  • 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
  • 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience.
  • Knowledge of SAP systems (like SAP Business Suite, S/4HANA, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects, etc.) and their architecture and infrastructure needs.
  • Experience working with end user or developer communities.
