Job Title: Senior Cloud Solutions Architect

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team in Australia. As a key member of our Solutions Architecture team, you will work directly with customers to accelerate their products and initiatives, recommending best-practice cloud architectures that align with their long-term business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with customers to drive technical solutions discussions, diving deep into complex technical challenges to craft scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures.
  • Scope and own each customer engagement, ensuring clear and well-defined objectives and success criteria.
  • Act as a thought leader in the wider community, educating and sharing best practices through presentations, white papers, blogs, and workshops.
  • Share the voice of the customer to influence the roadmap of new features and services for the AWS platform.
  • Contribute to the development of cloud-native technology stacks and platforms, enabling customers to iterate faster, increase service delivery velocity, and achieve a global reach for their products and services.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest-growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers, including public sector.

Basic Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas.
  • Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive-level stakeholders or clients.
  • 8+ years of experience in software development, full-stack, application, or integration architecture.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.
  • Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
  • Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS.
