About the Role

Cognizant is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Solution Architect to join our team. As a Senior Cloud Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining secure, robust, and scalable cloud solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to address business challenges through technical solutions that are resilient, high-performing, and future-ready.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement cloud-based solutions that meet business requirements and ensure alignment with best practices for data protection and governance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cloud native applications, create and support Big Data pipelines on Cloud, automate processes with IaC, and implement security-first DevOps workflows.
  • Architect and implement Big Data solutions (Data Lakes, Data Mesh, Lakehouse) that meet business requirements and ensure alignment with best practices for data protection and governance.
  • Lead application modernization initiatives to improve agility and scalability, and establish and promote DevOps best practices with efficient CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 9+ years as Senior Solution Designer, focusing on cloud.
  • 9+ years of experience in designing high availability and high scalability solutions on Cloud.
  • 5+ years of experience with Big Data architectures (Data Mesh, Lakehouse, Data Lake).
  • 9+ years of experience in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and hybrid architectures.
  • 5+ years of experience in Serverless and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Azure ARM).
  • Experience working with InfoSec for compliance with regulations.
  • Proficiency in C#, NodeJS, Python, Java, Scala, and SQL.
  • Experience with Big Data tools (Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka).
  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps and CI/CD tools (GitLab, GitHub Actions).
  • 5+ years with AI technologies to enhance business processes and customer experiences.
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Agile/Scrum experience and ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
  • 5+ years of experience in develop and deliver trainings in company.
