Urban Planning Opportunity

RPS Group is seeking an experienced Urban Planning Specialist to join our Brisbane team on a permanent full-time basis. As a key member of our Place and Environment Team, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across various sectors and geographies.

As an Urban Planning Specialist, you will be responsible for contributing to the preparation of planning reports, studies, and strategic planning projects. You will also coordinate studies and projects, including due diligence reports, planning proposals, and development applications. Your strong communication skills will enable you to work directly with clients, internal and external project team members, government, and other stakeholders.

We are looking for someone with a strong commitment to client service, teamwork, and passion for shaping planning outcomes. If you have a tertiary qualification in urban/town planning and at least 5 years of experience in the planning/approvals/environment assessment industry, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the preparation of planning reports, studies, and strategic planning projects.
  • Coordinate studies and projects, including due diligence reports, planning proposals, and development applications.
  • Work directly with clients, internal and external project team members, government, and other stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with your colleagues at RPS Group.
