ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a motivated Safety and Compliance Coordinator to support our Retail Operations and People & Culture Teams. Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager and collaborating closely with the Health and Safety Business Partner, the Safety and Compliance Coordinator will deliver comprehensive administrative support to the Health and Safety Team, ensuring that all health and safety protocols and procedures are maintained across our retail locations, support office, and distribution centers. This is a part-time position based at our Support Office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer all WorkCover claims, ensuring timely submission and processing of compensation payments to team members.
  • Collaborate with the Health and Safety Business Partner to manage payroll calculations effectively.
  • Oversee the validity of Certificates of Capacity and Return to Work (RTW) Plans in line with medical advice and recovery progress.
  • Prepare and submit RTW Plans to relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage the Health and Safety email inbox, ensuring prompt attention to incoming correspondence.
  • Assist in the administration of First Aid within the Support Office, including inventory checks and restocking of supplies.
  • Process pending incidents and escalate issues as necessary.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proficient administrative skills with a strong command of Microsoft Office.
  • Completion of RTW Coordinator Training Course is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication abilities.
  • A genuine passion for supporting Occupational Health and Safety practices.
  • A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.
