Job Opportunity: Clinical Dietitian

We are seeking an experienced and passionate clinician to deliver high-quality, evidence-based clinical nutrition care to young people on the coast.

This role provides a great opportunity to contribute to a collaborative and innovative health service, offering both clinical expertise and leadership across a diverse caseload.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert clinical dietetic assessment, education, and intervention to inpatients and outpatients.
  • Deliver specialist nutrition services to support the health and wellbeing of young people (ages 12-25).
  • Lead quality improvement projects and contribute to ongoing research within the department.
  • Clinically supervise junior dietitians and support staff, ensuring best practice standards are maintained.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic, person-centred care.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and professional documentation in line with health service policies.

About You:

  • Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics that provides for full membership of a relevant professional association and substantial postgraduate experience in a range of clinical areas and up-to-date knowledge of dietetic and food service practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to innovatively lead team tasks, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement, professional development and research.
  • You are a skilled and compassionate clinician with a strong interest in youth health. You bring advanced clinical reasoning, a commitment to continuous improvement, and a supportive leadership style that encourages learning and excellence in practice.
  • An unrestricted driver's licence is required.
