Job Title: Clinical Leadership Specialist

About the Role:

  • Clinical Expertise: Provide expert clinical leadership to a team of clinicians working with young people with complex mental health conditions.
  • Team Management: Manage your own clinical caseload while overseeing team coordination and ensuring efficient service delivery.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Act as a key point of contact for staff and managers across mental health and general health teams, providing expert consultation and fostering collaboration.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and legal/regulatory requirements, including risk management protocols, and facilitate appropriate notifications as required.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Qualifications in a mental health-related discipline - Social Work (AASW eligibility), Registered Nurse, Registered Psychologist, or Occupational Therapist (with 3 years of full registration).
  • Leadership Experience: Demonstrated leadership experience, including clinical supervision, team coordination, and conflict resolution.
  • Clinical Expertise: Extensive clinical experience in mental health, child & adolescent mental health, and/or drug and alcohol services.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and partnership-building abilities across multiple service providers.
