Health Clinician Level 3 Role

This role focuses on enhancing non-specialist services to deliver early identification and treatment for young people with eating disorders.

As a specialist clinician, you will provide services, liaison, and consultation regarding the management of children, adolescents, and young people with eating disorders and their families in both community and hospital-based settings.

The successful candidate will cover the entire district, often located at a health centre, where there is parking available with highway access. This role involves working closely with tertiary hospitals in Sydney and Newcastle in the transfer of care of young people back to the Central Coast.

We offer a comprehensive education, clinical mentorship, and professional development package tailored to the needs of the individual and the position. Package includes:

  • Support for a program of supervision to register with professional colleges
  • Access to a suite of eating disorder-specific training in evidence-based packages - online and face-to-face - and ongoing internal NSW Health supervision to put them into practice
