Job Title: Mental Health Clinician

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled mental health clinician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and supervision to a team of clinicians, as well as working directly with young people aged 12-25 who are experiencing mental health problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Provide expert clinical and operational leadership and supervision to clinicians in the Youth Access Team">
  • Liaise and provide consultation to staff and managers of other mental and general health teams and relevant external agencies">
  • Ensure that the Youth Access Team complies with professional and organisational obligations in relation to policies and procedures, risk management and notifications">
  • Undertake direct clinical work with young people aged 12-25 years experiencing mental health problems">
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve service delivery and client outcomes">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Tertiary qualifications in a mental health related discipline">
  • Extensive experience as a clinician in the provision of mental health, child & adolescent mental health and/or drug & alcohol services">
  • Demonstrated partnership building and negotiation skills with a broad range of service providers">
  • Tertiary qualifications in mental health related discipline: Social Worker eligible for membership of AASW; Occupational Therapist (Health Professional Level 4); Registered Nurse (Nurse Manager Level 2); Registered Senior Psychologist Yr. 1-3">
