About this Opportunity:

The role of Indirect Procurement Professional is responsible for procuring in-direct materials and services, with a key focus on supporting operations in South Australia.

Key responsibilities include stakeholder management, building professional relationships, and leveraging suppliers to support success.

  • Develop and support ANZ Indirect Procurement Category management strategy, aligning with global objectives
  • Work as part of the broader procurement network to develop and roll-out initiatives, including sharing and reapplying best practice
  • Support the Annual Procurement Planning Process
  • Lead or support strategy execution via RFP or supplier negotiation as required
  • Conduct sourcing activities such as RFPs, negotiations, to completion of award
  • Lead supplier consolidation to streamline vendor base in line with logistics strategy
  • Sourcing for alternatives to support innovation, cost initiatives as well as risk mitigation
  • Implement and deliver Procurement targets for the assigned category (e.g. cost savings, cost avoidance, working capital, and TCO)
  • Lead supplier selection process with best in class tools and framework
  • Develop supplier evaluation and audit framework in collaboration with regional and global category teams
  • Lead supplier development activities, set-up cross functional reviews to improve performance and drive value creation
  • Proactively identify supply continuity risks and develop mitigation plans
  • Continuously evaluate the supply market to ensure that the latest information is available. Perform market analysis in close cooperation with other departments

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Indirect Procurement experience in either B2C or B2B environment
  • Advance negotiation, and sourcing strategy development skills
  • Good project management and communication skills
  • Good understanding on financial metrics (i.e., Working Capital, Cost Avoidance, NSV, DPO)
  • SAP/Coupa knowledge and experience is beneficial
