Due to an internal promotion, our Asia Pacific Procurement team is looking for a Sourcing Manager, Indirect to join them.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Sourcing Manager will coordinate, manage and develop Indirect Sourcing spend within APA, helping to improve business performance.
As the key focus is on Australia, Perth is the preferred location - we will also consider other Australia and Asia locations.
Strategic Sourcing
Translate business requirements and market understanding into procurement strategies, development actions and implementation roadmaps
Owns Indirect sourcing performance, spend and delivery against the agreed targets in area
Drives indirect sourcing to execute sourcing strategies to deliver improvements and ensures early involvement in proposal planning in close collaboration with Business Partners
Drives specific competitiveness improvement initiatives such as total cost and location optimization
Business Partnerships
Ensure alignment between local operational procurement teams, global category managers, Market Area and Business Areas
Represents procurement in APA with close collaboration to internal and external stakeholders
Manages Indirect Procurement and ensures close collaboration with Delivery teams
Supplier Relationship Management
Owns supplier relationships for key strategic suppliers and negotiations with them
Processes
Ensures procurement processes and tools, guidelines and policies are implemented in the Area
ABOUT YOU
Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders, change management experience
A people person with good interpersonal skills
Strong negotiation skills
Supplier relationship management and development experience
Supplier assessment and approval experience
Long term planning and analytical skills
Data savvy with solid skills in SAP, Excel and other relevant tools
Process development mindset, Source to Pay
Proactive with a sales mindset
Sourcing experience ideal
Fluent spoken and written English
