Databricks is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our team in Perth, Western Australia. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base in the region.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in cloud data sales, with a strong understanding of big data technologies and their applications. You will be passionate about delivering value to customers and building long-term relationships with them.

About the Role
  • Job Title: Account Executive
  • Location: Perth, Western Australia
  • Reports to: Regional Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the region
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers
  • Deliver presentations and demonstrations to potential customers
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and develop tailored solutions
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. computer science, engineering)
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud data sales or a related field
  • Proven track record of success in sales, with a strong understanding of big data technologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
