Emergency Response Team Member Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Response Team Member to join our team. As an Emergency Response Team Member, you will be responsible for responding to emergencies and providing critical support to ensure the safety of individuals and communities.

Your primary duties will include:

  • Responding to emergency incidents in a timely and effective manner
  • Providing critical support to emergency responders and affected individuals
  • Maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety protocols

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A valid Certificate II in Public Safety (Fire-fighting and Emergency Operations)
  • A valid Certificate III in Public Safety (Fire-fighting and Emergency Operations)
  • Relevant experience in emergency response or a related field

In addition to your technical skills, you must also demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.

About the Role

This role requires the incumbent to be an Australian Citizen and eligible to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance up to a level of negative vetting 1 (secret). The successful applicant will also be required to pass an ARRFF pre-employment medical.
