Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Recruitment Consultant to manage the full recruitment cycle, ensuring we maintain our high standards of care and support for individuals with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the entire recruitment process for various roles within the organization, from job vacancy advertisements to successful candidate placements.
  • Develop job descriptions and post vacancies across relevant platforms.
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates to assess their qualifications and fit for our organization.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide guidance throughout the recruitment process.
  • Maintain an organised applicant tracking system to ensure efficient record-keeping.
  • Build and maintain relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Review and interpret employment laws, awards, contracts, wage systems, and dispute resolution processes to ensure compliance.
  • Develop, plan, and create enterprise agreements or collective contracts, including implementing productivity-based wage adjustments and workplace relations policies.
  • Supervise the establishment and functioning of workplace consultative committees and initiatives to enhance employee engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with NDIS and industry standards throughout the recruitment process.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably in healthcare or disability services.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and employment legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in using recruitment software and applicant tracking systems.
  • Passion for supporting individuals with disabilities and promoting inclusive practices.
