Role Description
">Cocoon SDA Care offers a rewarding career where your skills and commitment are recognised and rewarded. As a Disability Support Worker, you'll experience a close-knit working environment driven by strong values, succession planning, and expansive training opportunities. We employ staff based on qualification, experience, and participant needs.
">You'll work in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) or SDA setting to help provide participants with personal growth and independence. Our team engages with our participants as they shape and improve their lives, creating opportunities for positive change and inspiring partnerships of support.
">The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years industry experience and possess the following skills:
">- Clear and effective communication skills and ability to establish a professional relationship with participants and their families.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record management - Compliance and safety is our top priority.
- Flexibility to work over a 7-day roster and be available to work overnight shifts or attend training or meetings as required.
Requirements
">- National NDIS service provider achieving Platinum standard for housing for Participants with Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) funding.
