Civil Project Management Opportunities

Clearwater Construction is seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to lead waste water projects in South Australia.

About the Role:
  • Review and interpret project documentation including drawings, contracts, and specifications.
  • Oversee project planning, programming, and resourcing from inception to delivery.
  • Attend post-tender meetings and manage pre-award correspondence with clients.
  • Work with site personnel to set up and deliver projects successfully.
  • Prepare, monitor, and update project programs, managing extensions of time where required.
  • Ensure QA, safety, environmental, and risk controls are in place and maintained.
  • Conduct site visits and meetings to oversee project progress and performance.
  • Manage procurement of subcontractors and suppliers, including negotiations and claims.
  • Handle project variations, RFIs, progress claims, invoices, and final completion documentation.
  • Maintain strong client, consultant, and stakeholder relationships throughout delivery.
  • Resolve defects, disputes, and ensure profitability across projects.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role within Australia.
  • Proven background in managing waste water projects.
  • Civil engineering qualifications are essential.
  • Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, contracts, and specifications.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
  • Strong commercial mindset with proven ability to deliver projects profitably.
  • Ability to lead and collaborate effectively with site teams and subcontractors.
