Civil Project Manager - Waste Water - South Australia

Key Responsibilities

As Civil Project Manager, you will take ownership of multiple waste water projects concurrently, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget and to the highest standards of quality. This role offers the opportunity to work both strategically and on the ground, collaborating closely with site teams, clients and stakeholders.
  • Review and interpret project documentation including drawings, contracts and specifications
  • Oversee project planning, programming and resourcing from inception to delivery
  • Attend post-tender meetings and manage pre-award correspondence with clients
  • Work with site personnel to set up and deliver projects successfully
  • Prepare, monitor and update project programs, managing extensions of time where required
  • Ensure QA, safety, environmental and risk controls are in place and maintained
  • Conduct site visits and meetings to oversee project progress and performance
  • Manage procurement of subcontractors and suppliers, including negotiations and claims
  • Handle project variations, RFIs, progress claims, invoices and final completion documentation
  • Maintain strong client, consultant and stakeholder relationships throughout delivery
  • Resolve defects, disputes and ensure profitability across projects
About You

You are an experienced Civil Project Manager with proven success delivering waste water projects in Australia. You bring a strong combination of technical expertise, leadership skills and commercial awareness, with a passion for delivering high-quality outcomes. You thrive in a busy environment, can manage multiple priorities and enjoy collaborating with a diverse range of people.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in the same role within Australia
  • Proven background in managing waste water projects
  • Civil engineering qualifications are essential
  • Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, contracts and specifications
  • Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
  • Strong commercial mindset with proven ability to deliver projects profitably
  • Ability to lead and collaborate effectively with site teams and subcontractors
