About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team in providing high-quality support services to individuals with disabilities across the Mid-North Coast region.

As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in empowering clients to achieve their goals through tailored therapy plans and personalized assistive technology recommendations.

You will work collaboratively with a diverse range of clients, from children to adults, to develop and implement effective treatment plans that promote independence and well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and diagnoses to identify client needs and develop personalized treatment plans
  • Deliver occupational therapy services, including home and community visits, to ensure optimal client outcomes
  • Liaise with medical and allied health professionals to coordinate comprehensive care
  • Coach and advise team members and carers on best practices and strategies for supporting clients
  • Facilitate therapeutic groups and workshops to promote social skills and community engagement
Requirements
  • AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities, particularly those with physical and intellectual disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve shared goals and objectives
