Job Summary:

The Benevolent Society is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Mid-North Coast region. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work with clients across the lifespan, from children to adults, to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

About the Role:

  • You will conduct thorough functional assessments, develop and implement client plans, and provide occupational therapy services in clients' homes and community settings.
  • Collaborate with medical and allied health professionals, coach and advise team members and carers, and facilitate therapeutic groups and workshops.
  • Attend meetings and maintain accurate documentation, utilizing evidence-based practice frameworks to assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate clinical supports.
  • As an effective time manager, you will ensure timely delivery of services and meet client goals and performance expectations.

Requirements:

  • Currently registered with AHPRA, passionate about supporting people with a disability to achieve their goals.
  • Honest and respectful, with integrity and a genuine respect for all people regardless of their disability, culture, age, gender, or sexual orientation.
  • Experienced in applying evidence-based practice frameworks to assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate clinical supports.
  • Effective time manager to ensure timely delivery of services and meet client goals and performance expectations.
