About the Job

Role Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments and develop interventions to support clients with cognitive, physical, and psycho-social disabilities.
  • Manage a caseload using evidence-based assessment protocols and collaborate with stakeholders to provide therapy and progress reports.
  • Prescribe assistive technologies and recommend home modifications to enhance client independence and physical capacity.
  • Stay updated on NDIS and DSOA legislation and participate in health education and promotion initiatives.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy and practical experience in a disability or similar setting.
  • Knowledge of assistive technologies and home modifications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce quality client reports.
  • Effective communication and empathy to work with diverse stakeholders and clients.

Additional Requirements
