Occupational Therapist Role

This role is a maternity replacement to facilitate students' participation through improving their functional capacity and providing developmental opportunities.
About the Role:
The Occupational Therapist will provide services to students with a wide range of disabilities and impairments. Key responsibilities include:
- Development and provision of Occupational Therapy services
- Implementation of relevant informal and standardized assessments of skills
- Development and implementation of programs, strategies and materials to enable students to access goals set as part of Individual Learning Plans
- Provision of consultation, education services, resources, strategies, advice and support for families and members of the college trans-disciplinary team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) or equivalent
Desirable:
- Some experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder
