The Infrastructure Solution Designer role is critical to Toll's success in delivering a robust and secure technology foundation.

About the Role:

This position requires an expert in designing comprehensive infrastructure solutions, encompassing networking, compute, storage, cloud, and security aspects.

  • Key responsibilities include developing hybrid and cloud-native infrastructure strategies, creating secure B2B customer integrations, and leading modernisation initiatives such as SDWAN and wireless network designs.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need extensive experience in infrastructure solution design and delivery engineering, with strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

  • You should have hands-on expertise in Cisco networking technologies, including SDWAN, LAN/WAN, wireless, and ACI fabric.
  • Familiarity with hybrid infrastructure environments, including Azure, AWS, Windows/Linux, VMware/Hyper-V, and SAN/NAS storage platforms, is essential.
  • In-depth knowledge of security tools such as Cisco and Checkpoint firewalls, Zscaler, Symantec Cloud Proxy, VPNs, and Active Directory/Azure AD is required.
  • Prior experience with cloud networking solutions like AVS, Azure ExpressRoute, and Megaport, as well as infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and Ansible, is highly regarded.
  • A degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, coupled with relevant certifications, such as Cisco (CCNP+), Azure/AWS architecture, or VMware, is necessary.
Desirable Skills:

Familiarity with cloud migration strategies, DevOps practices, and containerisation using Docker or Kubernetes would be beneficial.

Experience in leading technical teams and mentoring junior engineers would also be advantageous.
