Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced People Business Partner to join our organization in Melbourne, Australia. As a key member of our Human Resources team, you will play a vital role in delivering people-focused strategies and support to our Sales and Go-to-Market divisions in the APAC region.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as an expert and primary point of contact for all matters related to employee experience within your client group
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues, key stakeholders, and managers to provide HR services and initiatives that align with the evolving needs and priorities of our growing teams
  • Be a trusted advisor and coach to managers, playing a critical role in enhancing their leadership effectiveness within your client groups
  • Partner closely with managers on people-related strategies and offer thought-leadership in areas such as career development, employee engagement, succession planning, compensation, performance management and talent reviews, etc.
  • Foster solid relationships with managers and employees, offering coaching and mentoring support in HR matters

Your Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Solid experience as a People Business Partner, ideally within the software technology industry
  • Knowledge of New Zealand and Australia legal requirements as well as the ability to operate in a global ecosystem
  • Prior expertise in change management, organizational development, and managerial coaching
  • Ability to quickly build rapport with employees at all levels and with various types of personalities
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a management and employee group that is widely dispersed
  • Previous experience facilitating difficult discussions, offering feedback to employees at all levels, and coaching on related matters
