Key Role: Underground Grader Operator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Underground Grader Operator to join our team. As an integral part of our underground operations, you will be responsible for operating a grader in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring that the mine's infrastructure is maintained at the highest level.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate the grader safely and efficiently, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
  • Conduct pre-start checks on equipment prior to operation.
  • Participate in equipment handovers with shift supervisors and cross-shift operators.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Provide training and guidance to new and inexperienced operators.
  • Maintain roads and drains to a high standard.
  • Conduct manual scaling techniques as required.

Requirements:

  • At least 12 months of experience operating a grader, preferably a 14M.
  • Knowledge of general mine services and safe work practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with JSA systems and their application.
