Excavation Specialist

To succeed in this role, you must be willing to adapt and work safely in a fast-paced underground environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure safe working practices through the effective implementation of the Ground Control Management Plan.
  • Bore development excavation profiles that meet the specified requirements.
  • Install and maintain essential underground services.
  • Provide support for charge-up and other development tasks as required.
  • Communicate effectively across shifts to ensure high-quality work is maintained.
  • Lead by example in promoting safety awareness and environmental responsibility.
About You
  • Experience working in an underground mining setting and ability to work within a team-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of mine services and adherence to safe work procedures.
  • Strong communication and observation skills, with the ability to provide feedback and guidance to colleagues.
  • Familiarity with JSA systems.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Supervisory experience is desirable but not essential.

Located in the Western Australian Goldfields, this role offers the opportunity to work on an attractive fly-in/fly-out (FIFO) roster from Perth or enjoy close-knit communities and local lifestyles in Kalgoorlie.
