Mining Operations Specialist

This role involves operating large mining equipment to transport extracted materials from the pit to dumping areas. Key responsibilities include driving excavators, dozers, graders and trucks, as well as maintaining equipment and ensuring a safe working environment.
Main Responsibilities- Operate heavy machinery including Komatsu 1250, Cat 14 & 16 M Graders, and Cat 777, 785, 789 Trucks
- Accurately interpret and apply survey instructions and dig plans
- Complete daily safety assessments and ensure compliance with procedures
- Use good judgment to select and improve procedures for safe operations
- At least 12 months of all-rounder experience and 2 years of mining experience
- Current Class C Driver's Licence
- Previous experience in an Open-Pit/Cut mining environment (desired)
- Basic electrical and mechanical knowledge of Open-Pit mining equipment
- Permanent full-time role with excellent remuneration package
- Residential allowance, site allowance and short-term incentive payment
- Fully covered family private health insurance
- Death and Total Permanent Disability (TPD) insurance or allowance
- Pro-rata long service leave after 5 years of service
