Job Description- We are seeking an experienced Debt Recovery professional to join our team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for recovering outstanding debts through negotiation, payment arrangements, settlements, and legal proceedings.
- Key responsibilities include managing high balance late-stage recovery and bad debt portfolios, identifying optimal strategies for resolution, and escalating cases as necessary for legal action or external debt collection intervention.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of debt recovery processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with external stakeholders, including solicitors, mercantile agencies, and insolvency practitioners.
- Minimum 5 years experience in commercial collections, bad debt recovery or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant financial regulations and industry best practices.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolutions skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to handle complex customer interactions professionally.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making skills, with proficiency in multiple Loan Management, CRM systems.
