Personal Insurance Advisor

This role offers an opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service, provide expert insurance advice, and build strong relationships with clients.

You will be responsible for conducting needs assessments, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conducting care calls, and processing renewals. Additionally, you will be expected to sell new policies/write new business to existing or new clients, retain existing book of business, quote new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters, and receive walk-in clients.

Key responsibilities include contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy, preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes, and reviewing renewals.

To succeed in this role, you will require post-secondary education, relevant sales and customer service experience, a desire and ability to create your own sales leads, exposure to Epic (an asset), strong customer focus, demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully, strong analytical and organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to pass a criminal background check and credit check.
