Key Responsibilities:- Provide hands-on care for mares, foals, weanlings, yearlings, and spelling racehorses.
- Collaborate with veterinarians, farriers, and other professionals as needed.
- Oversee feed runs and maintain clean facilities.
- Administer treatments and provide basic wound care.
- Support foal handling and weaning processes.
- Transport mares and foals to service and breakers to trainers.
- Valid Australian driver's license.
- Highly developed horse husbandry skills and experience.
- Prior experience in general horse care and stud farm duties.
- Ability to work independently and mentor junior/seasonal staff members.
- Enthusiasm to expand knowledge and skills.
