About the Role

As Executive Director of Community Services, you will lead a team of 50+ passionate community workers who provide in-home care services to the elderly around Melbourne.

This role involves coaching, supporting, and directing a geographically dispersed team with the goal of achieving exceptional customer service. You will be the daily point of contact for your team, conduct interviews and inductions for new care workers, manage team and individual performance, drive safety initiatives, and handle customer escalations with support from the management team.

You will also oversee payroll and other administrative tasks, ensure compliance targets are met, and work closely with the management team to achieve company goals.

About You
  • A proven track record of leading large teams within community, call centre, retail, hospitality or similar industries.
  • The ability to build trusted relationships, communicate with empathy, and maintain professional boundaries with your team.
  • Prior experience within the Community/Aged Care industry is desirable but not essential.
  • Exceptional communication and time management skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • A strong passion for compliance and achieving customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrated experience with coaching, having difficult conversations, and performance managing frontline teams.
  • Stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills.
  • A valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and insurance.

Requirements

In order to be successful in this role, you must:

  1. Have a relevant qualification in Leadership (or equivalent experience).
  2. Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  3. Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

The estimated salary for this role is $95,000 - $115,000 per annum, depending on experience.
