Job Title: Security Governance Specialist

As a key member of the Security Enabling Services team, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive security culture at Australian Parliament House. You will be responsible for providing administrative support to various governance forums, managing information requests, and preparing internal reports and briefing papers.

Some of your main responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to foster effective working relationships and represent the Security Division at relevant meetings and forums.
  • Working closely with other sections of the Security Division to manage staff in delivering security services.
  • Establishing, maintaining and enhancing stakeholder relationships, and providing administrative support.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as an in-depth understanding of relevant legislation and policy frameworks, including the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF). Additionally, they will have the ability to establish, maintain and enhance stakeholder relationships.

Additional Requirements:

  • Obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting 1 (Confidential/Highly Protected/Secret) security clearance.
