Job Title: Security Governance Specialist

Protecting lives and securing the future is a mission-critical task.

The role of a Security Governance Specialist is key to supporting Defence Industry Security Program (DISP) obligations and helping move from DISP Level 2 to Level 3 for Personnel Security (PERSEC) and Governance.

  • Maintaining security vetting governance, policies, and processes.
  • Supporting the DISP uplift program from Level 2 to Level 3.
  • Ensuring compliance with requirements.
  • Managing security registers, reporting, and assurance activities.
  • Providing security vetting advice to projects and teams.
  • Working with talent acquisition to manage staff clearances.

Strong knowledge of AGSVA processes and requirements is essential. Experience with PSPF, DSPF, and Australian Privacy Principles is also required.

The ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively is crucial.

Clear communication skills are necessary for success.
