Join our team as an experienced Automation Engineer in Launceston and enjoy the opportunity to work on exciting projects, applying your technical expertise in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Delivering automation projects across multiple industries.
  • Providing technical design expertise in line with Cromarty policies and QA procedures.
  • Working through the full project lifecycle – from tendering and design to configuration, programming, and commissioning.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Bachelor of Engineering in IOT/IT, Electrical, Mechatronic or Automation.
  • Demonstrated experience in IGNTION SCADA.
  • Proven experience in programming (C#, JAVA, Python).
  • Network and Cyber Security experience.
  • Understanding of automation systems.
  • Functional description writing skills.
  • Experience working through the full Project Life-cycle - tendering support, design, configuration/programming and commissioning.
  • Australian working rights.
