Business Development Specialist

In this dynamic position, you will support Agribusiness Relationship Managers and their customer portfolio, gaining exposure to complex customers. You will deepen existing relationships by understanding customer needs and providing tailored solutions across all agribusiness product suites.
Key responsibilities include onboarding new customers, obtaining necessary information, completing applications, and maintaining ongoing portfolio management. You will build strong relationships with customers via phone and email, as well as participating in customer visits aligned with our customer value proposition.
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- A tertiary qualification in agribusiness, finance or a related discipline
- Experience in or knowledge of agribusiness lending and credit risk principles
- Financial analysis skills, including the ability to analyze and interpret financial statements
- Up-to-date knowledge of agriculture market conditions, agribusiness products, cash flows and markets (desirable)
