We are seeking an experienced and skilled finance professional to join our team as a Finance Broker. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take their career to the next level and make a real impact in the finance industry.
About the RoleAs a Finance Broker, you will be responsible for guiding customers through the car loan application process, screening and assessing their creditworthiness and affordability, and acting as a liaison between lenders and customers.
You will also use your expertise to offer products such as extended warranties and vehicle protection, communicate clearly with customers via phone and email, and maintain compliance and accuracy across all loan documentation.
In addition, you will leverage new technology platforms to streamline workflows and customer interactions, and work closely with our team to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
Guide customers through the car loan application process, ensuring they understand the options available and make informed decisions.
Screen and assess customers' creditworthiness and affordability, using your expertise to identify potential risks and opportunities.
Act as a liaison between lenders and customers, managing approvals and declines, and communicating clearly about the status of applications.
Use your expertise to offer products such as extended warranties and vehicle protection, helping customers protect their investment and provide peace of mind.
Communicate clearly with customers via phone and email, providing excellent customer service and building strong relationships.
Maintain compliance and accuracy across all loan documentation, ensuring that all paperwork is complete and up-to-date.
Leverage new technology platforms to streamline workflows and customer interactions, improving efficiency and productivity.
Minimum 2 years experience in a finance role, preferably in asset finance or dealerships.
Cert IV in Financial Services (or equivalent) or relevant tertiary qualifications.
Experience with credit assessment, affordability checks, and lender communication.
Proven customer service skills in both inbound and outbound environments.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work with evolving digital systems and CRM platforms.
Attention to detail and a compliance-first mindset.
Valid driver's license.
Able to work on Saturdays and at least 2 Sundays per month.
