Residential Team Leader

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate leader to oversee our residential alcohol and other drug (AOD) services. As a Residential Team Leader, you will be responsible for building a high-performing team that delivers client-focussed care in a culturally safe and responsive environment.

You will contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote equity and inclusion, and ensure that service delivery meets key performance targets and complies with funding body requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the assessment, intake, and admission process for participants entering residential or community-based treatment.

- Ensure a coordinated and integrated approach to pre- and post-treatment care in collaboration with Residential and Community-based Case Workers.

- Manage residential AOD program activities, while fostering partnerships and building strong, collaborative relationships with external agencies.

- Mentor and support staff through ongoing development, coaching, and performance feedback, using quality assurance checks to identify opportunities for learning and reflection.

Requirements

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Community Services, Social Work, or a related discipline.

- A culturally responsive approach to supporting clients from diverse backgrounds.

- A minimum of 2 years' experience in case management, group facilitation, and service delivery within AOD or complex needs settings.

- Proven capabilities collaborating with external organisations to design and tailor services to meet client needs.

- Demonstrated experience of supervisory or team leadership experience.

- A current and valid driver's licence.
