Occupational Therapy Educator

Monash University's Department of Occupational Therapy seeks to appoint sessional Teaching Associates to join our team of Practice Educators.
As a Teaching Associate, you will work with undergraduate and masters entry level occupational therapy students in a variety of fieldwork settings, facilitating their learning and development.
We are seeking registered occupational therapists with a minimum of two years professional practice experience since graduation, and prior experience of providing occupational therapy placement-based education is desirable.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing clinical supervision and mentorship to students
- Developing and implementing educational programs
- Collaborating with academic staff to integrate practice-based learning
Preferred qualifications include professional practice experience in one or more of the specific practice areas listed above.
A Working with Children Check (WWCC) is required. Depending on the nature of the placement sites, a National Disability Insurance Scheme Worker Screening Check (NDIS Check) may also be required.
